Recycling Made Easier! - Single-stream makes recycling easier than ever. Now you can put all your recycling in one large toter bin to be picked up the same day as the trash! Compass urges all of its residents to take advantage of this simple way to make a huge impact on the well being of our planet.  

  • In the first nine months of the programs existence, the city of Stamford collected nearly 5,800 tons of recycling, a 26% increase over last year.
  • At the same time, residents reduced their garbage by 550 tons!

Small strides together really make such a difference, so next time you are thinking of tossing your bottle, can, paper product or magazine in the trash, think instead: “One Bin, All in!” Please recycle!
