As we reflect on 2011, we cannot help but to feel an immense sense of gratitude for all that has happened to us this past year. We feel incredibly blessed for our clients, partners, community and team. We know the key to success lies in our ability to be thankful for the past while looking head to the possibilities of our future.

The key to our success in 2011 was led by our dedicated employee base. In 2012, we aim to foster an even healthier workplace focused on respect, a balanced lifestyle and innovation. Our clients have the freedom to choose their temporary furnished apartment provider and we’re so grateful to the individuals and company’s that have chosen to stay with Compass. We aim to dedicate 2012 to the Guest Experience, focusing and improving service through listening to valuable feedback.

Here at Compass, we are very excited about what is in store for 2012! To kick off the New Year, we asked our employees to share their own New Year’s Resolutions! Their responses proved to be quite inspirational!

“To spend more quality time with my family.”

-Eric Fleming, President

“Exercise more, manage my time better, give back to the community, spend more time with my kids”

-Chris Fleming, CEO

“In the immortal words of Homer Simpson ‘I’m in shape, round is a shape!’ My resolution is to exercise and get in better, less rounded shape. (Unfortunately this is at complete odds with my favorite new hobby of making delicious beer)”

-Chris Brooks, Vice President of Business Development

“Start and stick to a wellness program and spend more quality time with friends and family.”

-Oscar Morales, Vice President of Operations

“I am resolving to live a healthier life, including healthier eating, regular exercise, tolerance of everyday annoyances, expanding my cultural experiences. I am going to try a new thing with the grandchildren and read a bedtime story via skype/facetime once a month expanding to once a week. I am going to create something every month with sewing or knitting or other craft to help me stay creative. I am going to read every day for fun and more of the paper than the headlines. I am resolving to be a better me so I can be better for those around me. I hope when you ask me next December if I achieved my New Years Resolutions, I can say yes to them all!

-Ann Loftus, Accounts Payable

“I would have to agree with Chris, my goal is to become less round. Also to get residential Services up and running to its full potential.”

-Tim DeBowes, Sales Associate

“To improve stress management!”

-Shannon Czaplicki, Sales Associate

“To keep exercising and eat healthier. Keep up with my grades and stay involved as much as I can at school. Stay positive and always look at the bright side of things. Have confidence with myself and keep being who I want to be. Also to volunteer my time more to those that need extra help.”

-Kaitlyn Casso, Intern

“Reconnect friendships that I have let drift over the past few years!”

-Amber DelPrete, Public Relations Manager

“Take time for myself to exercise more and eat right, spend quality time with my family and friends and most of all not to worry so much.”
-Tricia Hawes, Customer Service Manager
