A culture of sustainability is built into the very core of our company.  Our mission is a simple one, to get people to think about how their everyday choices affect their environment.  We do this though creative solutions to our business needs.  See below for a snapshot of what we are doing.

  • We are utilizing E-faxing services in the office to reduce paper usage.
  • Logistically, we are managing how our day to day operations are planned by keeping a keen focus on minimally wasted time, energy & fuel.  We organize our housekeeping and quality control schedule so our team is effectively utilizing their time to arrange move ins, move outs and housekeeping services.
  • Vendors are selected on based on a criteria of like-minded business and proximity to our locations.  The fuels an open conversation for educating & sharing ideas amongst one another.  We are inspired by our vendors and partners and are proud of how they do business!
  • We take education and learning very seriously.  We provide education for our clients, guests, vendors, employees on sustainability practices and work to engage them on issues involving the community and sustainability.
  • The health of our employees are very important to us.  We have implemented an Employee Wellness Program with various initiatives to extend through 2011 in an attempt to grow the program in the areas of nutrition, exercise and education.
  • We take corporate responsibility seriously.  Beyond issues of sustainability, we wish to evaluate ways to get involved with the communities in which we do business with.  We plan to achieve this through our Compass Cares Program.
