We pride ourselves in making our office space as sustainable as possible! Here is a snapshot of some office wide initiatives we have implemented.
- Our Stamford, CT office is designed to allow an abundance of natural light with large glass windows & a large slanted ceiling window.
- There is an abundance of greenery & plant life in the offices maintained through organic methods.
- We do not use paper or plastic dishware- all hard dishwear, utensils & glasses.
- We do not use paper towels. Instead, cloth hand towels are hung in the bathroom and laundered.
- In the bathroom, we use non-toxic hand soap & dishwashing soap & 7th generation 100% recycled toilet paper and tissues.
- Our in house printing is done by a solid ink printer with 100% recycled paper in printer
- We efficiently insulate to manage heat loss and reduce energy costs.
- The Stamford, CT office has a bicycle to use for errands around downtown.
- The office is conveniently located within a mile of public transportation. About 50% of our employees use public transportation to get to work.
- We recycle & practice single stream recycling where applicable.
- In the Stamford, CT office, we are using composting our food waste.
- We purchase office supplies made from post-consumer recycled content when applicable from local vendors.
